Buds Technology is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team. We are a dynamic and innovative organization specializing in the healthcare software solutions. Job Summary:

As a member of the development team, the Associate Software Engineer will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing, developing, and testing software solutions and supporting various teams (e.g. Customer Integration, DevOps, and Product Management) with implementation, and product prototypes. This position requires an individual who has a good understanding of software development methodologies.

Responsibilities: 

· Collaborate with Product management, and Customer Integration team to clearly articulate their most important needs and convert them to requirements for value-add solutions for the customers.

· Design, develop and test prototype applications, in collaboration with the development team, to get feedback from target customers, and verify the value add for them.

· Perform unit and integration testing and diagnosing issues with designs and codes

· Assist Customer Integration in program implementations at customers

Qualifications:

· One to four years of experience in software development

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related engineering field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Science,).

· Skills in programming languages like PHP (with a focus on Laravel Framework), Python, JavaScript (Business Understanding)

· Web Development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular)

· Basic knowledge of testing frameworks and writing unit tests

· High level understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)

· Proven experience as an Application Engineer or similar role, especially in health care, will be a plus.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

· Capable of providing technical support and troubleshooting for customers.

· Ability to work in a team and/or independently, as required.
