Job Description:
The Business Analyst (BA) will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and management of clinical trial systems, including Rave Safety Gateway, Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
The BA will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment, integration, and operation of these systems to enhance clinical trial efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
2. System Implementation and Support:
Support the implementation and integration of Rave Safety Gateway, EDC systems, and CTMS.
Assist in the configuration, customization, and testing of clinical trial systems to ensure they meet business needs.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clinical trial systems.
3. Data Management and Reporting:
Develop and maintain data standards and best practices for data collection and management.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
Generate and analyze reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
4. Training and User Support:
Conduct training sessions for end-users on clinical trial systems and processes.
Provide technical support and guidance to users to ensure effective system utilization.
5. Project Coordination:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trial system projects.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all clinical trial systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including system validation and audits.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry, with a focus on clinical trial systems (Rave Safety Gateway, EDC, CTMS).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in clinical trial management systems, EDC systems, and safety data management tools. Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and system integration.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project coordination and management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for clinical trials (e.g., GCP, ICH guidelines).
