About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President to lead the organization in the EdTech industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking over from the Founder and focusing on innovations, while being supported in the transition phase. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can inspire people, drive transformational change, and lead the company through significant growth. Experience as a previous CEO, COO, or CMO of a company that has grown through the $30MM - $50MM+ revenue curve is essential, with a bonus for experience beyond the $100MM level. The ideal candidate will have a background in USA consumer experience, particularly in professional training, adult coaching, mentoring, online courses, eLearning, and managing global or remote distributed teams. Good job stability, strong references, and a high level of education (Degree, MBA, or PhD) are also important. The CEO/President will be expected to have a proven track record in leadership, with a focus on people, process, technology, growth, operational playbook, and budgets. The role involves working with a team of 80-250 individuals and may require interaction with teams in different time zones, particularly in the Eastern and Central time zones. The candidate should be interested in personal development and coaching, and be prepared to engage in the improvement of individuals within the organization. This is a remote USA-based position, and the candidate should be a USA citizen with the right to work in the country.
