About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the strategic direction and operations of its Information Technology. Key responsibilities for the CIO include collaborating with institutional leaders, communicating IT strategy to the executive team and board of trustees, and advising on emerging technologies. The role also involves team building and management, ensuring the reliability and security of IT systems, and leading the governance of IT investments. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 15 years of related experience, including a proven track record as a CIO. Essential skills include excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of current technology trends and best practices. Experience in the higher education industry is a plus, and the ability to manage a diverse team and multiple projects effectively is essential.
