At JSET, we focus on low voltage controls, particularly in the installation and commissioning of BMS and EPMS systems for data centers in the Columbus area. We are committed to providing our employees with valuable industry education through hands-on experience.
BMS Controls Technician
Essential functions of this position Include but are not limited to:
Read technical documents related to devices and equipment
Work with a team of technicians to complete daily goals
Conduct detailed point to point inspections
Troubleshoot electrical circuits
Replace or repair faulty devices or wiring
Work with commissioning agents on final testing
Qualifications
Must be 18+ years of age.
Valid driver's license
Attention to detail
Willingness to learn
Problem solving skills/Critical thinking
Work with safety in mind

Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors.
Ability to see various colors and shades of control and communication wiring without the need for corrective lens.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills, Configuration of devices with software
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Monitor and analyze electrical systems, Knowledge of circuitry
