Job Description

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled critical care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages in a fast-pace inpatient setting. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
* Perform medical procedures such as IV insertion, tube feeding, and esthetic laser treatment as needed.
* Manage acute illnesses and injuries in patients, including toddlers and adults.
* Document patient interactions accurately in medical records using ICD-10 coding.
* Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain a clean and organized medical office environment while adhering to safety protocols.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and preventive care.
* Respond effectively to emergencies and provide immediate care as required.

*Requirements*
* Completion of Master's or Doctorate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution with a valid license to practice in the state.
* Experience in inpatient critical care setting is strongly preferred.
* Proficiency in performing medical procedures such as IV insertion and tube feeding.
* Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including toddlers.
* Ability to lift patients as necessary while ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is advantageous.
