Dutch Boy Cleaners is seeking dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that clients receive top-notch service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, managing transactions, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all our clients. Job Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs for dry cleaning, laundry, or alterations.

- Explain dry cleaning processes, services, and pricing to customers.

- Check-in garments and items, tagging them correctly for identification and processing.

- Inspect items for any damages or stains and notify customers of any issues before processing.

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to handle transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.

- Provide customers with receipts, tickets for their garments, and return dates for pickup.

- Answer customer inquiries in-person and via phone or email, providing information on services, turnaround times, and garment care.

- Update customers on the status of their items as needed, including any delays or issues.

- Manage customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring a pleasant environment for customers.

- Coordinate with the back-of-house staff to ensure orders are processed and completed on time.

- Keep track of inventory and supplies, such as hangers, garment bags, and tags, and place orders when necessary.

- Promote additional services and special offers to customers.

- Follow up with customers to encourage repeat business and obtain feedback.

- Ensure confidentiality

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in English language

- Basic computer literacy

- Customer service experience, preferably in a retail or service environment

- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings

- Familiarity with handling cash and processing credit card transactions

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Knowledge of garment care and dry-cleaning services is a plus

- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints gracefully

- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace

Compensation details: 14-14 Hourly Wage
