Our growing and dynamic agency is looking for a Copywriter to join our Digital team, where they will develop copy for digital marketing channels that resonates with our clients’ target consumers and achieves their business objectives. They will play a key role in delivering on BMF’s Made to Inspire promise, delivering digital copywriting that engages audiences across the globe.

As a Copywriter at BMF, you will work across BMF’s key client verticals, like hospitality and entertainment, to develop engaging, on-brand copy across social and digital channels. You’ll serve as a champion for narrative, ensuring storytelling is infused in every social post, landing page and display asset. You’ll consider not just what’s artful but also what the consumer experience of digital assets across platforms is to surprise, delight and inspire consumers to engage with brands and take action.

Responsibilities

  • Write engaging copy on behalf of our clients across all digital channels, including social media, community management, CRM, search and web
  • Partner with Digital Strategy to help understand, develop and execute brand tone of voice across multiple clients and categories
  • Collaborate with the Digital Strategy and Creative teams to brainstorm and develop concepts that support campaigns, monthly content calendars, stunts and more
  • Participate in the development of social playbooks and RFP responses, partnering closely with the Digital Strategy and Digital Creative teams
  • Develop ideas and support copywriting that fuels digital content productions
  • Interface directly with clients on copy output, helping them to understand the strategy behind your choices
  • Stay on top of best practices, emerging behaviors and trends in digital to help us propose innovative client solutions in copywriting and beyond
  • Partner with Digital Strategy team to develop test-and-learn agendas for copywriting that help improve performance for our clients
  • Support the development of monthly social media content calendars and campaign strategies
  • Support cross-functional teams with copy editing and writing as needed

The salary range for this role is $65,000-80,000 and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.

Requirements

You must have:

  • 3-5+ years of copywriting at a creative marketing agency that specializes in digital creative development
  • A strong understanding of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Discord, and Reddit, and what it means to write award-winning copy and ideate for them
  • Demonstrated experience become a champion for brand tone of voice
  • Demonstrated experience writing copy in the voice of talent and/or crafting copy that engages deeply passionate brand fans and communities
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts in a strong and compelling way
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with an ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues
  • Must possess a clear creative point-of-view, high taste level, and strong creative references
  • Must be well-informed when it comes to social trends and best-practices
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative work while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
  • An empathetic, patient approach to management as well as a roll-up-your-sleeves, solution-oriented, get-it-done attitude
  • Experience in technical writing, like search engine optimization, is a plus
  • Fluent copywriting in another language is a plus
  • Mac Proficient – including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook
