Key Responsibilities Summary:
- Develop and enforce construction budgets and cost controls.
- Secure and manage bids, contracts, and performance of project partners, including general contractors and architects.
- Oversee project entitlements, permits, and engage with local jurisdictions to resolve issues.
- Monitor project schedules and costs, mitigating risks to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
- Lead and facilitate design and construction meetings to align deadlines, goals, and deliverables.
- Support proposal responses and bid solicitations, and assist with market analyses for potential property acquisitions.
- Manage construction administration processes, reports, and documentation.
- Build strong relationships with investors, local governments, and industry partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7–10 years in construction management or a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proven expertise in construction project management, budgeting, permitting, and collaboration with design professionals.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced leadership and communication skills for managing teams and engaging stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, land use, and zoning processes.
- Collaborative leadership with high personal integrity.
