About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of E-commerce to lead the strategic and operational management of its primary e-commerce website. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the e-commerce site's strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing strategies. This role involves leading a team of e-commerce professionals and digital marketers, overseeing the website's functionality, usability, and performance, and managing digital marketing channels to drive sales and revenue growth. The Director will also be tasked with optimizing the website for search engine visibility, user experience, and conversion rate, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance online merchandising strategies and campaigns. Applicants for the Director of E-commerce position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in e-commerce management, website development, or digital marketing. The role requires a proven track record in managing and optimizing e-commerce websites, strong leadership and management skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Experience with project management methodologies and tools, as well as knowledge of various digital marketing techniques, is highly valued. The Director will also be expected to ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations and standards and to stay abreast of industry trends to continuously improve the website's performance.
