About the Role

Are you a passionate and driven attorney looking to make a meaningful impact in family law? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can advocate for clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives? If so, Cordell & Cordell wants you to join our legal team in the Fort Worth, Texas market.

Responsibilities

Represent our clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and support cases.
Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, and conduct legal research.
Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
Collaborate with a skilled team of attorneys and legal professionals.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Texas state bar license (or eligibility for reciprocity).

Required Skills

2+ years of family law experience.
Strong negotiation and litigation skills with a client-centered approach.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively to achieve an annual billable target of 1500 hours.
Passion for family law and advocacy for clients navigating complex legal issues.
