Job Details
Position Overview:
We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and identifying deficiencies and issues that need to be repaired. You will also be responsible for programming addressable systems and verifying proper system operation. This position requires the ability to service, repair, and replace fire alarm system-related products.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems.
Identify and correct deficiencies and malfunctions in fire alarm systems.
Program and configure addressable fire alarm systems.
Verify proper operation of installed and repaired systems.
Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair of fire alarm system components.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inspection documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Provide customer support and training on fire alarm system operation.
Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and programming.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 72).
Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems effectively.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Certification or licensing as a Fire Alarm Technician is required
