Job Description

Fire Alarm Service/Technician
An established and innovative company is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join their team. This is an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to become integral to a team who values integrity and rewards dedication and innovation.

Fire Alarm Technician Duties:

* Minimum 3-5 years experience
* Perform installations, programming, troubleshooting,testing and repairs on fire alarms systems.
* Install wire, conduit, and devices per documents, drawings, and company standards.
* Support on call service requirements.
* Provide training and support to customers on operations of systems.
* Remain current on all training, certifications, licensing, and safety requirements.

Fire Alarm Service/Technician Qualifications:

* Knowledge in fire and safety systems
* Experience in Mechanics and Electronics field required
* Prior experience in commissioning, service, and or maintenance required
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
* Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
* MS Office Applications
* Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
* Effective communication skills
* Motivated self-starter
* Excellent critical thinking skills
* Understanding of building codes
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Must possess a valid driver's license
