Job Title: Healthcare Regulatory Consultant

Job Summary:
As a Healthcare Regulatory Consultant, you will provide expert guidance to healthcare organizations on navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and standards. You will analyze regulatory requirements, develop compliance strategies, and support the implementation of best practices to mitigate risk and promote organizational integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and analyze regulatory requirements and standards affecting healthcare organizations, including local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and recommend strategies to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and FDA guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare administrators, legal teams, and other stakeholders to address regulatory challenges and provide tailored solutions.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, reports, and documentation required for compliance.
• Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate regulatory compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory compliance, including policy changes, best practices, and risk management.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and presentations on regulatory assessments, recommendations, and project progress.
• Advise on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices to help organizations stay current and mitigate compliance risks.
• Provide guidance on responding to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, Public Health, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CHC, CPC) preferred.
• Proven experience in healthcare regulatory consulting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, FDA, and state-specific requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement compliance strategies.
• Proficiency in regulatory management software and tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with audit processes, regulatory reporting, and compliance training.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
