Job Description
Apex Systems is looking to hire a
FULLY ONSITE Industrial Designer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.
This assignment is anticipated to be a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule. If you are interested, please apply and we will reach out to you right away!
Responsibilities: - Propose and develop design solutions with clear product message and distinct brand identity that meets the project prerequisites.
- Explore ideas for product message and create 2D and 3D concepts, e.g., sketches, drawings, and visual artifacts, using the given inputs.
- As part of a multi-disciplinary product design team, create concepts and develop projects from idea through to production.
- Interior and exterior design.
Experience: - Formal design training required.
- Must have 4-6 years of experience with Autodesk Alias and Photoshop.
- Illustrator, Keyshot, and Blender experience a plus.
- Transportation industry experience is preferred.
- Heavy truck or construction experience is a plus.

Required Skills : 4-6 years experience total - AutoDesk Alias, PhotoShop, Formal design training - Degree, Portfolio Highly prefer someone with Auto/Trucking experience. Other considerations are designers from the gaming/movie industry, motorcycles, robotics or similar work.
