Instructional Developer

Our work depends on Instructional Developer joining our team to help ensure fair trade practices and safety in goods production and import.The Instructional Developer is responsible for supporting training and career development activities for federal, state, and local government clients of GDIT. The person in this entry level position will assist with the production and execution of virtual learning programs (webinars, web-based training, and virtual conferences), in-person instructor-led training, user guides, blogs, and other career-related resources. Foundational design, development, and facilitation skills are a must.
HOW AN INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Prepare regular program content and messaging (course descriptions, learning objectives, outreach emails, etc.)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Required Skills and Abilities: Understanding of all phases of the ADDIE process; Willingness to facilitate training in-person or on-line via virtual classrooms; Experience or training in developing of quick reference guides (QRGs) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) content (i.e., instructor and student guides); Knowledge of e-learning development principles; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Works well in a team environment
● Preferred Skills: Experience engaging subject matter experts, performing quality assurance (QA) reviews, and gathering training requirements
● Location: Hybrid (3-4 days onsite) in the Virginia/Maryland and DC area
