Insight Global is seeking a Laser Technician to support our manufacturing client in Atlanta, GA. The role involves installation, service, and training on laser automation systems. The technician will focus on installing, servicing, and repairing the electrical and avionic control systems that manage our machinery. Proficiency in mechanical work and electrical control systems is essential. Our technicians work with heavy machinery and power tools, performing physically demanding tasks. We expect our technicians to be accountable and responsible, providing comprehensive customer support throughout the machines ownership lifecycle. The candidate should be comfortable with regular travel within assigned territories, which may occasionally require overnight stays. Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope. Experience working with or performing service on a Punch Press machine1-2 years of experience working on electrical control systems. Ability to analyze, repair and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, schematic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS. Able to precisely follow layout drawings and blueprints used in the installation of equipment.
