Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician ensures all facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and safely. They will perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks to maintain a comfortable and secure environment for guests and staff.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • They will perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks to maintain a comfortable and secure environment for guests and staff
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
  • Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection of all location building's interiors and exterior
  • Notify management of problems/concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Assist with outdoor seasonal work
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant safety, security, and emergency procedures and equipment as related to department responsibilities
  • Maintain outside of plaza area, through the painting of light pole bases, curbs, and railings, sweeping, washing windows, and general cleanup and maintenance
  • Report potholes, pavement problems, cracks, crumbling curbs, heaved cement to management so repairs can be made
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of facilities, vendor and negotiation management
  • Skilled in project management principles and techniques
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work flexible hours and perform duties in an orderly fashion under general supervision
  • A valid New York State driver's license is required as this position requires travel to multiple facilities

  • The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift or move greater than 100lbs

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the base salary range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to: skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Depending on the position, successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, as well as wellness and benefit offerings.

Salary: $60,000-$65,000
