Our expertise includes counting features, capturing images, recording videos and speech, and scanning areas to provide comprehensive data for informed decision-making. Our dedicated field teams operate across Europe and North America, ready to tackle new challenges.
Project Overview
We are embarking on an exciting project aimed at collecting high-quality images of streets, main points of interest, and public areas across the USA. This data collection is carried out using cars equipped with 360-degree cameras that capture the surroundings and store the images on onboard computers. This invaluable data will enhance one of the world's most popular online maps.
Job Description
Position: Field Data Collector (Driver)
Location: Various locations across the USA
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week (Weekend work may be required due to weather conditions)
Responsibilities
- Drive specific routes to capture images of public streets and areas, focusing on commercial districts and historical sites.
- Ensure the highest quality of imaging, revisiting areas as needed due to weather conditions.
- Follow designated routes and schedules precisely.
- Safeguard the equipment and data collected during the project.
- Communicate effectively with the project team and provide detailed reports.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Driving Skills: Proficient driving skills with a good understanding of local traffic trends.
- Knowledge of Area: Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Gmail, Google Forms, and Google Meet.
- Availability: Minimum commitment of 3 months.
- Parking: Must have a private monitored parking space for the corporate vehicle.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Responsibility: High level of responsibility and reliability.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (criminal and driving record).
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of car maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys driving.
