Occupational Summary

The Marketing Manager is a dynamic team player who will be responsible for translating the strategic vision of the Director of Marketing and Communications into detailed, actionable marketing plans. This role manages day-to-day operations of the organization's marketing initiatives, driving the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand standards, and fostering collaborative teamwork. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, adept at balancing high-level planning with hands-on management to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Planning & Execution:
    • Translate high-level strategies into actionable, multi-channel marketing plans-spanning digital, print, and event-based tactics-while overseeing execution to ensure timely delivery and consistency across all touchpoints.
    • Regularly evaluate campaign effectiveness, using data insights to optimize reach and engagement as needed.
    • Campaign channels include but are not limited to email, direct mail, social media, radio, tv, and other external advertising channels.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the Digital Media Specialist to align digital marketing strategies with broader campaign goals and brand messaging, providing guidance on digital content across social media, email marketing, and online advertising to ensure high-impact, brand-consistent output.
    • Act as the liaison between staff departments, ensuring effective cross-departmental collaboration and gathering all necessary information to run successful campaigns.
    • Supervises seasonal interns with assistance from Director of Marketing and Communications in assigning workload/projects.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Define KPIs for campaigns and use analytics to monitor performance across all channels, collaborating with team members to interpret data from digital platforms, surveys, and other sources for actionable insights.
  • Regularly report campaign effectiveness to the Director of Marketing and Communications, offering data-driven recommendations for improvements and future strategies.
  • Vendor & Partner Relationship Management:
  • Coordinate with community partners and media contacts alongside the Director of Marketing and Communications to enhance collaborative marketing opportunities, overseeing contracts and project deadlines to ensure each partnership supports campaign success.
  • Brand Consistency & Quality Control:
  • Ensure all marketing content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging standards by reviewing materials and providing creative direction to accurately reflect the organization's values, image, and voice.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high quality in creative and messaging elements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field OR equivalent years of experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing management, with proven expertise in campaign execution and team coordination.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, events, and print.
  • Demonstrated experience in tracking campaign performance metrics and using data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation, copywriting, and brand messaging.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media scheduling platforms) and familiarity with graphic design principles.
