**Materials Clerk**

Reports to: Materials Clerk

Work Location: Battle Creek, Michigan

Shift: 3rd Shift

We have an exciting opportunity at our Battle Creek facility for entry level or experienced **Materials Clerk** who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. **RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Build corrugated materials to support production schedule.

* Place corrugated packaging materials in appropriate storage location for production use.

* Breakdown cardboard for recycling.

* Perform weekly cycle counts on purchased corrugated and pallets and documents proposed adjustments to inventory.

* Stores, maintains and repairs damaged returnable containers or creates disposition for external repair.

* Maintains customer websites and excel spreadsheets per customer expectations and processes receipt of customer containers received into customer portal to maintain accurate inventory records.

* Repack finished good parts from corrugated to customer approved packaging to support shipments as needed.

* Maintain 5S of the work area, keep equipment in a clean and orderly condition, follow prescribed safety regulations.

* Maintains an above average attendance record to ensure timely work completion.

* Must have knowledge and adhere to current quality and environment system requirements that relate to this job.

* Safely and proficiently uses a forklift and handcart to unload and transport materials to appropriate locations.

* Performs routine driver safety checks on forklift and reports maintenance items to maintenance department.

* Practices good 5S housekeeping techniques.

* Performs all activities in a professional and positive manner.

* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* Able to perform work responsibilities safety and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations

* High School Diploma or GED is required
