Job Description What You'll Do
- Work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, earning hourly pay and benefits including health, vision, dental, 401K with matching, up to 15 paid time off (PTO) days in your first year, and paid holidays.
- You will specialize in preventative and routine maintenance on tractors and refrigerated trailers, and repairing and troubleshooting issues with major components of these systems.
- Perform basic diagnostics to identify source of trouble and make necessary adjustments to equipment for safe and efficient operation.
- Ensures proper and accurate documentation of all maintenance performed, using hand-written or electronic forms as required.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
What Experience You Need
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 2-4 years' practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance required.
- Must have one (1) year experience performing vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair (with some assistance) major tractor trailer components such as: gas and diesel engines, power trains, electrical systems, brake systems and suspension systems
- Ability to work with other technicians to solve problems and complete tasks.
What Could Set You Apart
- One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

- Able to frequently lift components weighing approximately 110 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with manual and automatic transmission.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; push; pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; and crouch.
- Ability to enter and exit driver's compartment of truck and/or behind cab using normally available foot and handholds.
- Must be able to use hand and power tools.
