The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution and must be an active member in good standing of the Patent Bar. Duties: Provide legal counsel to clients on matters related to intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent prosecution. Draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Conduct patentability searches and analyze patent landscapes. Advise clients on patent infringement and validity issues. Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to understand inventions and prepare patent applications. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and USPTO examiners. Stay abreast of changes in patent laws and regulations. Requirements: Active membership in good standing of the Patent Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in the state of Louisiana (preferred).
