Job Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the production department supporting the day shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Shift Supervisor

Location: Jacksonville, FL

What's the Job?

• Manage a team of production workers on a designated shift and ensure they work safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production processes to ensure that production targets are met, and take corrective action if necessary.
• Ensure that all products meet our quality standards by conducting regular checks and audits.
• Train new employees on production processes and equipment, and ensure that all employees receive ongoing training and development.
• Maintain accurate records of production processes, including the amount of raw materials used and the number of products produced.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
