The PR Account Supervisor plays a key leadership role on the company's client teams, ensuring strategy, execution, and service are aligned with client goals and agency standards. This position requires experience managing complex accounts, consulting with senior executives, and developing integrated PR, branding, and marketing programs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners while overseeing budgets, timelines, and team performance.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and present strategic, integrated communications, marketing, and PR plans (including crisis communications)
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for multiple client accounts, building strong, trusted relationships
• Lead and support execution of communications strategies, including PR, internal comms, media outreach, crisis communications, digital campaigns, and branding work
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including creative, research, and digital partners
• Manage scopes of work and budgets, provide monthly financial projections, and ensure projects stay within budget
• Create proposals and gather project inputs from clients and partners
• Provide performance updates and manage progress against goals and metrics
• Supervise and mentor team members, providing feedback and development opportunities
• Monitor and anticipate client needs, recommend solutions, and proactively communicate challenges
• Support account retention and growth through exceptional service and strategic recommendations
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or PR-related fields
• 3+ years of agency experience managing client accounts as the main point of contact
• Experience consulting with executive leadership and aligning communications strategy with business objectives
• Strong writing and presentation skills; able to produce high-level strategy documents, research summaries, and communications plans
• Media relations experience and active media contacts preferred
• Team leadership experience, with strong delegation and feedback capabilities
• Passion for narrative change, integrated campaigns, and strategic storytelling
• Experience with branding, content, and digital marketing integration is a plus
