Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Reservoir Engineer to join an oil and gas company in Downtown Houston. The reservoir engineer is a specialized petroleum engineering professional who estimates how much oil and gas can be recovered from hydrocarbon reservoirs. Reservoir-specific corporate reserves refer to the estimated quantities of oil and gas within a specific reservoir interval that are accessible through a borehole and connected to surface facilities for production or injection. These reserves are crucial for planning and portfolio management purposes, allowing companies to assess the potential value and viability of specific reservoirs. During the reserve cycle; they will be dealing with functionalities of geology, land, accounting, operations, to get a full picture of the scope of the company and going forward and defining a plan for the companies assets.

Required Skills & Experience

7-10 years of experience in a Reservoir Engineering role

A&D Experience

Software experience: Aries for reserves, harmony for development enterprise, Spotfire, and PowerBI

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hanesville experience

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
