Hometown News, a well-established local media company serving the Space Coast encompassing Melbourne and Brevard County—is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth and build the top-performing sales team in our coverage area.

About the Role:

We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and tailored advertising solutions to local businesses across print, digital marketing, and media channels. As Sales Manager , you will lead our sales team by example, developing strategies, fostering client relationships, and ensuring our continued success in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team.
• Drive revenue growth across print, digital, and marketing services.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base.
• Work hands-on in the field, actively engaging with clients and prospects.
• Foster a customer-centric culture focused on long-term relationships and results.
• Track sales performance and implement initiatives to optimize success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales management (preferred but not required for top-performing sales professionals ready for leadership).
• Strong background in advertising sales, digital marketing, or media services.
• A results-driven mindset with excellent leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving market trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

We distribute just over 165,000 copies of our newspapers each week to our subscribers, with a small amount going to area racks and other bulk drop locations.
