Senior Cost Accountant | Hybrid | Up to $110k + Bonus
The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, management reports, and other accounting documents. This role ensures the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications while supporting various reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly journal entries, consolidating entries, and month-end analyses.
· Compile exhibits and commentary for reports submitted to management, external Directors, and government agencies.
· Coordinate the preparation, proofreading, and distribution of reports.
· Analyze and report on distribution and storage costs.
· Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and systems.
· Reconcile and analyze intercompany transactions.
· Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
· Assist with special projects, year-end activities, and related tasks.
· Perform inventory reconciliations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
· 3+ years of accounting experience, CPA preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
