What the job involves We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing team, with the expectation of being in the SF office at least 3 days a week. You will take ownership of the entire recruitment process for critical roles across some of our engineering teams. This is an opportunity for a proven recruiter to leverage their deep technical knowledge and strong sourcing skills to build a best-in-class talent pipeline for Hayden.
Responsibilities - Partner with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles, develop compelling job descriptions, and craft targeted recruitment strategies.
- Lead the sourcing process, utilizing a variety of advanced techniques to identify top talent within a competitive landscape.
- Conduct in-depth technical screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the full interview process, including scheduling, logistics, candidate communication, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Negotiate offers, manage complexities of hiring packages, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical recruitment.
- Analyze recruitment metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize the hiring process.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of experience in technical recruitment.
- Prior startup experience required.
- Strong understanding of the full-cycle recruitment process, with a focus on proactive sourcing and building a robust talent pipeline.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex conversations with both hiring managers and senior-level candidates.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other relevant recruiting technologies.
