Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume, scratch kitchens and a proven ability to lead kitchen operations in collaboration with the Executive Chef. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with menu development, recipe creation, and food cost management.
• Oversee food preparation and execution during service, ensuring dishes meet presentation and taste standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies while minimizing waste.
• Uphold company standards and collaborate with the team to create a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of culinary experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchen preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.
