Why you'll love this job

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Product Agility and Technical Coaching team. This individual will play a pivotal role in catalyzing transformation and enhancing the performance of software engineering teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Lead a team of technical coaches, responsible for the continuous improvement of engineering and product teams
  • Drive transformation initiatives, helping teams adopt modern technical practices, product agility, and an iterative learning mindset
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and leadership, to instill Agile principles and practices that optimize product delivery and performance
  • Implement and oversee an immersive coaching program, modeled on, but distinct from, a traditional dojo, to help teams improve both their technical and product practices
  • Partner with technical teams to guide pair programming, test-driven development (TDD), and clean coding practices
  • Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand product and technical challenges and deliver tailored coaching interventions
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by promoting cutting-edge development methodologies, such as DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile at scale
  • Monitor team performance and the impact of coaching interventions, providing feedback and adjustments to improve outcomes
  • Work closely with peers in the product coaching space in order to create effective technical- and non-technical interventions and experiences for product teams and their leaders toward the transformation goals of the organization
