Construction Accountant (Entry level) - Ardmore, Pa - $50-55k - In office 5x per week

Growing Construction group in Ardmore, Pa is seeking an entry level accountant to join their team.

A bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as an Entry-Level Construction Staff Accountant. This role will provide valuable exposure to the financial aspects of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including job cost reports, project budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support project managers and other team members with financial analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices is a plus.
