As a Threat Hunter, you will stay ahead of emerging threats through advanced Threat Hunting. You will scope, assess, and hunt across a wide variety of threat topics and technology as items of concern manifest across the threat landscape. You will work with partner security teams as well as technology teams to bring clarity and pro-active posturing to our greater security operations.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Execute leading Threat Hunting theses
• Create and refer detection logic
• Distill trending Threat Intelligence into Hunt theses with focus on techniques and behavior
• Serve as a subject matter expert and assist partner teams as needed

Basic qualifications

• 3+ years of Threat Hunting and/or Incident Response experience
• 2+ years of experience in performing dynamic and static malware analysis.
• Strong working familiarity with MITRE, Kill Chain, and other industry frameworks

Preferred qualifications

• 5+ years of Threat Hunting and/or Incident Response experience.
• 3+ years of experience in performing dynamic and static malware analysis.
• Experience Threat Hunting in large enterprise environments.
