Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist\nFacility: Baptist Health Floyd\nLocation: 1850 State St, New Albany, IN 47150\nJob Type: Contract – 13-week duration\nShift: Night Shift (3x12-Hour) 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\n•\tWeekly Gross: $2,946.00 Per Week\n•\tOn W2(Taxable): $846.00 Per Week ($23.50/hour)\n•\tStipend (Non-Taxable): $2,100.00 Per Week\n\nJob Overview:\nBaptist Health Floyd is seeking an experienced Clinical Inpatient Pharmacist for a 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). This position requires an individual with at least 3 years of clinical pharmacist experience and a strong background in inpatient pharmacy settings. The successful candidate will possess EPIC experience and hold an active Pharmacist license (IN license can be in process). This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team and provide essential medication therapy management in a hospital setting.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n •\tProvide pharmaceutical care to patients in an inpatient hospital setting.\n•\tEnsure proper medication therapy management, including dispensing, preparing, and administering medications.\n•\tConduct drug utilization reviews and monitor medication regimens for effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness.\n•\tCollaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient education on drug therapy and potential side effects.\n•\tUtilize EPIC for electronic health record documentation, medication orders, and patient management.\n•\tProvide clinical pharmacy services including medication consultations, therapeutic drug monitoring, and dosage adjustments.\n•\tParticipate in hospital rounds with the healthcare team and contribute to care planning.\n•\tEnsure compliance with hospital protocols, including safety and regulatory standards.\n•\tParticipate in orientation and training for new pharmacy staff.\n\nRequirements:\n •\tExperience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical pharmacist experience in an inpatient setting.\n•\tLicensure:\no\tRPh (Registered Pharmacist) required.\no\tIndiana Pharmacist License (or in process) is required.\n•\tCertifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.\n•\tEPIC experience is mandatory.\n\nOther Requirements:\n•\tMust be able to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).\n•\tMust be able to float to different units as needed.\n•\tCOVID-19 Vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only.\n\nFacility Information:\n•\tUnit: Inpatient Pharmacy Unit (BHFLO-Pharmacist, 4050076000).\n•\tThe facility has a supportive pharmacy team and operates in a 7 on 7 off shift model for a balanced work-life schedule.\n
