Certification Details

• Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas, required
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R), required
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, required
• Current, Valid Drivers License, required
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), required

Job Details

• Performs high quality MRI procedures, according to exam protocol, and in a timely manner.
• Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
• Executes the MR safety practices as defined for each site.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma, required
• Graduate of an Approved Radiology Technology program, required
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Technology, preferred

Additional Details

• All travelers will be required to float if needed within their skill set.
• ACLS is required on 4 North, Stroke and Trauma, ICU, and ER.
• BLS is only needed for the MedSurg/Ortho and 4 South posting.

• Shannon Medical Center has a 110 mile radius rule, no contractor will be employed if they live within this radius.
• ALL CONTRACT NURSES WILL NEED TO PASS A SHORT MEDICATION ADMINSTRATION TEST.
