We are seeking a dedicated and organized Unit Clerk to join our healthcare team. As a Unit Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our nursing staff and physicians in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Patient Appointments: Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Maintain Patient Records: Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of patient health records.
• Manage Paperwork: Assist with the preparation and processing of admission and discharge documents, ensuring all required paperwork is complete and filed appropriately.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support the efficient operation of the unit and enhance patient care

We are a 280 bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Woodmere NY. We have a kosher facility with an onsite dialysis center. We are JCAHO certified and focused on quality care and resident satisfaction.
