Title: Business Intelligence Developer - IV


Location: One Verizon Way, Basking Ridge, NJ


Working Model: Hybrid (How many days in office/remote each week?: 1)


100% remote (EST) for Ideal candidate.


Duration:06+ months contract

• Conference Call Update
• Tableau Developer
• Certified Tableau Developer.
• Strong Data Analytics and Data Visualization.
• Help Visualization needs using Tableau.
• Should know advanced features of Tableau.
• building Tableau dashboards.
• Strong SQL queries and ETL process.
• Query GCP (having SQL Developer background).
• Mappings or Geospatial Visualization is a plus.
• Other tools like Qlik or PowerBI is good to have.
• Building Visualizations on mobile devices would be helpful.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Portfolio or Examples of work is needed.
• 2 rounds of video interview
• Functional and Technical Questions related to Tableau.
• Apr 2024 would be the start date.

Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 years


Responsibilities:

• Experience in the design, development and deployment of BI solutions with at least 5 years using Tableau
• Plans, designs and develops innovative BI solutions using an enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Provides overall guidance for data quality and business reporting.
• Develops and documents BI coding and naming standards, templates and metadata.
• Provides technical and functional development of reporting solutions and data analysis.
• Creating visualization to create mock-ups by leveraging large data sets
• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing data transformation tools
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to process raw data, extract meaningful insights, and determine the most effective visualization methods
• Strong SQL query knowledge and experience.
• Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Geospatial Analytics and Visualizations (map layers)
• Telecom or Wireless experience
• What you'll be doing
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other team members to define requirements, gather and refine data, and develop solutions that meet business objectives
• Work with the Engineering team to automate workflows and backend data feeding the dashboards
• Work with stakeholders to pull custom reports from the dashboard
• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS :
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Certification in Tableau or other related visualization tools
