About the Role
The Company is in an exciting phase of its long history and is seeking a Vice President, General Manager for its Digital Business. This executive will be at the forefront of the organization's strategic pivot, with a focus on broadening the market and serving as the economic engine for the Southwestern United States. The role involves building and managing new lines of business, including the launch of a digital bank under a separate brand, and establishing fintech partnerships to drive revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for team building, digital strategy development, new venture management, customer research, business case development, and will be a key player in the ongoing digital transformation of the organization. Candidates for this pivotal role should bring a minimum of 10 years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably within a digital setting, and have a background in P&L management, fintech, consulting, or startups. While not mandatory, an MBA is anticipated for many top candidates. The role requires a proven track record in leading and scaling new business initiatives, as well as the ability to manage people and attract top talent. Key performance indicators for the digital business include NPS, digital active users, growth in members, deposits, loans, and income through digital channels, and profitability. The VP, General Manager will also be responsible for budget management and will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring digital ventures to life.
