About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Ecommerce to spearhead the global brand's growth and presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, driving the direct-to-consumer (DTC) team to accelerate growth, and enhancing new customer acquisition and retention. This role demands a leader with a passion for consumer products, a highly analytical mindset, and a proven track record in revenue growth, performance marketing, and P&L management. The VP will be accountable for ensuring a best-in-class site experience, engaging with product and creative teams for optimal merchandising and brand storytelling, and leading the organization through influence and collaboration. Key focus areas include driving the new customer acquisition strategy, leading the customer retention strategy, and optimizing channel merchandising with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and continuous innovation. Applicants for the VP of Ecommerce position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in ecommerce, retail, or wholesale, with a strong background in merchandising and a proven P&L responsibility in a growth environment. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field, who is data-driven, process-oriented, and has a balance of art and science in decision-making. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, independent, and dedicated, with a talent for fostering innovation and ensuring accountability. Strong collaboration, influencing skills, and experience in multi-channel strategies are essential, as is the ability to manage a P&L across a multi-channel organization. The VP will be expected to lead the organization in delivering a premium DTC channel experience and must have a passion for product knowledge, customer communication, and a mobile-first, consistent brand experience.
