Job Details About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, eager to learn, and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with financial analysis and reporting
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support audits by preparing necessary documentation
Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial data accuracy
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
