Job Description
Amentum is seeking an **Executive Assistant** to join our Directors Office/JPRA team at **Fort Belvoir, VA** . This position provides information and administrative office support to our clients Directors office and senior staff, and serves as the primary interface for all visitors and inquiries to the office.
**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate all travel logistics for the Director and Vice Director to include airline and hotel reservations, vehicle rental, passing clearances, creating trip books, filing travel vouchers upon return, etc.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement administrative and logistical tasks for senior officer and civilian visits, conferences, and awards, promotion, and retirement ceremonies.
- Coordinate the Directors appointments, meetings, and makes travel arrangements for Director and Vice Director.
- Manage the Directors daily event schedule. Coordinate with the divisions (or others) as needed to ensure the Director is prepared for the event.
- Act as the owner of the Agencys Executive Calendar and manage its daily changes using Microsoft Office products. Lead weekly calendar meetings to synchronize the Directors schedule.
- Serves as the Directors Group records manager.
- Manage all correspondence coming to the front office by tracking its status and location until signed by the Chief of Staff, SEL, Vice Director, or Director.
- Review all correspondence coming in to the Directors group for spelling, grammar, consistency, clarity, readability and ensure it meets the formatting and content standards of the Air Force and/or Joint Staff.
- Maintain and order (as needed) all office supplies for the Directors group.
- Present a positive image of the organization.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Must have a current Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret with SCI clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret.
- High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience performing similar administrative tasks at the Joint Staff, OSD, Combatant Command, and or Service Headquarters staff.
- Excellent customer-service skills and the ability to focus on details.
+ Must have strong skills with:
- Microsoft Office.
- SharePoint and Records Management.
- Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Office organizational and management.
- Knowledge of DOD Records Management Procedures.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adjust and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate orally and in writing to support efforts at all organizational levels.
- Strong proof reading and editing ability.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree.
**Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:**
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
