Job Scope:
•  Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the company's owner(s).
•  Core Focus: Lead and manage key aspects of the company’s sales and marketing initiatives, with particular attention to developing outside sales channels, growing the wine club, managing and developing food services on-site, and supporting overall brand growth. Other business operations will be managed or overseen based on the candidate’s experience and the company’s needs.
Sales & Marketing:
•  Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, focusing on establishing and nurturing relationships with restaurants and bottle shops.
•  Marketing Execution: Create and manage the marketing calendar, coordinating with the tasting room manager on events, promotions, newsletters, and social media campaigns.
•  Wine Club Development: Oversee and expand the wine club, focusing on increasing membership acquisition, retention, and overall engagement. Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns to grow the wine club's customer base and enhance member experience.
•  Brand Development: Build and enhance the Davesté Vineyards brand, ensuring it resonates with high-end wine consumers.
•  Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, local communities, and vendors. Serve as the primary brand ambassador in media and public relations efforts.
•  Performance Goals: Set and monitor sales targets, particularly for outside sales channels, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed objectives.
Food Services:
•  On-Site Food Services: Oversee and expand on-site food services operations, ensuring they align with the overall brand and contribute to the guest experience and revenue growth.
•  Event Integration: Collaborate with the events team to integrate food services into on-site events and experiences, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Administrative & Operational (If Applicable):
•  Budget Management: Develop and oversee financial budgets related to sales, marketing, and food services efforts, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
•  Team Leadership: Provide leadership and coaching to staff involved in sales and marketing, ensuring a motivated and productive team.
•  Strategic Planning: Collaborate with ownership and other managers on long-term strategic planning, particularly in areas impacting sales and marketing.
Optional/Additional Responsibilities:
•  General Operations (Optional): Oversee day-to-day operations, including maintenance, inventory management, and vendor relations, depending on the candidate's background and company needs.
•  Finance & Compliance (Optional): Manage company finances, regulatory compliance, and inventory accuracy if these areas align with the candidate's expertise.
Qualifications:
•  Proven experience in sales and marketing within the wine industry or a related field.
•  Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving revenue growth, especially through outside sales channels.
•  Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
•  Ability to adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
