Job Summary: As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibility is to impress each guest with a clean and welcoming hotel & guestroom presentation. Attention to detail and cleanliness is key to making this happen; small details will provide an overall huge impact in the guest experience. Your role is essential to our business and will be the crucial factor to secure guest loyalty. Going above & beyond is what is going to set us apart from our competitors. We encourage staff to be creative to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities: Cleaning/sanitizing and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and working/public areas at all times.
Working quickly without compromising quality/diligence.
Keeping room facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
Notifying managers of necessary repairs/issues.
Collecting and disposing of trash.
Assisting guests when necessary.
Restocking all necessary room toiletries.
Time management and efficiency in tasks.
Deliver items to guest rooms, as requested.
Help other departments, as needed.
Responsible care of equipment and machines.
Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed.
Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis.
Skills: Detail-oriented and thorough.
Prioritization and time management skills.
Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to the hotel demands
Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
Physical mobility and stamina.
Ability to follow instructions.
Professional and polite.
Ability to lift at least 35lbs.
Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
Schedule: - Full-time
